Sunday marked the start of the season for the Memphis Express..
The Express wore WHITE on their inaugural game but will don their signature Red and Blues throughout the remainder of the season which is good news if you're a superstitious type. (I am and I say burn that white jersey and let's start over lol).
After the game Coach Singletary said "Do not expect this type of play" as coach vowed to have the Express ready to go for the next game against the Arizona Hotshots who won their first game against the Salt Lake Stallions.Coach Singletary told the team “Failure is a great teacher. We will learn a lot from this game. I think we learned a lot today from ourselves and I’m proud of the way our guys competed.”
