Lady Gaga And Ariana Grande Reveal 'Rain On Me' Release Date

Last month, Lady Gaga revealed the track list for her upcoming album Chromatica, along with all its features. Now, she's letting us know when we can hear "Rain On Me" — the highly anticipated collaboration with Ariana Grande — and we're not going to have to wait long.

On Friday (May 15), both singers shared the song's release date on social media, along with photos of the album art (Grande's post in black and white, Gaga's in color), and it's dropping next Friday (May 22) at the stroke of midnight! Both pop stars kept their posts simple, and gave us something to look forward to during these trying times.

In March, Gaga described "Rain on Me" as a "celebration of tears" during an interview with Paper.

"I sat with [Ariana] and we talked about our lives," she recalled. "It's two women having a conversation about how to keep going and how to be grateful for what you do."

Chromatica is Lady Gaga's sixth studio album and is slated for a May 29 release date. Aside from the Grande collab, the 16-track album will also include features from K-pop stars Blackpink (“Sour Candy”) and Elton John ( “Sine From Above”).
