Jessica Simpson's son is all grown up and towering over his mom.
The Nashville Canyon singer, 45, recently shared a new photo to her Instagram Stories of her posing with her son Ace, 12, per E! News. Despite not even being a teenager yet, he stood tall over his musician mother as he sweetly gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"My 12yr old Ace is much taller than [his] Mama🥰❤️," she wrote over the black and white snap, which was set to "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King, a song that has a special connection to the tween, according to Simpson. "Fun fact... he was born to this tune 🫶🏼"
In addition to Ace, Simpson also shares daughters Maxwell, 13, and Birdie, 6, with estranged husband Eric Johnson. Simpson and Johnson announced their separation in January 2025 after 10 years of marriage.
"Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage," she said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. "Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."
The "With You" singer recently weighed in on her dating options post-split and had the most iconic response to the idea of going on The Bachelorette to find her next love.
